I've read a lot of tips and implemented some great ways to save some serious money as we were getting out of debt. Seriously, when you apply knowledge to your everyday life and start tackling debt, there is no stopping on how creative you can become. This is my way of providing you with some great money saving advice.
Are you paying too much for insurance? or do you have the right insurance?
How much more could you save on that Cell Phone bill? The average person spends $840/year on cell phone bills. For a family of 4 the bill is more like $2000/year. Look at your cable bill. Can you reduce that cost? You may already have Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, or Apple Tv. All of this adds up to a lot of money and that means more savings.
I recently did an evaluation on a budget for a client. I found over $1400 in savings for the first year alone in those exact categories. WOW. That frees up $115 per month on money that can be applied to debt, or added to a retirement account. This is what a financial coach does. We first inject hope, then we work with our clients to bring clarity.
If you would like me to look over your budget, I welcome the opportunity. The main thing is, you need to be willing to evaluate your situation and be ready for change.
If you continue doing what you are doing, you will get the same results. If you are willing to apply changes, your life will change for the best.
